Rhyming words are listed in tables with three columns, as follows:
Left-hand column: Rhyming word
Middle column: Code for part of speech (see below)
Right-hand column:   Meaning in English
Most of the words are in Roman bold;
Partly assimilated loans are in Roman bold italic;
Unassimilated loans are in Roman italic.
Some of the rhymes found in the texts come from an epoch
earlier or later than that on which KK is based; these are printed in blue.
The unassimilated loans are nearly always spelled as in Modern English or Modern French.
The other words are spelled in a beta-version of Kernewek Kemmyn, called KK24.
KK (unlike SWF) is constantly undergoing slow improvement,
and this rhyming dictionary provides an opportunity to show the beta-version.
Parts of words whose spelling differs from that in the third edition
of Gerlyver Meur (GM20) are underlined. The main differences are:
(a) The assibilated reflex of medial and final Old Cornish /d/ is written z instead of s.
(b) Middle Cornish /o/ when short is sometimes written u instead of oe.
In the presentation of the dictionary, each set comprises one or more tables;
each table contains a list of congruent rhyming words.
Those tables labelled "full list" aspire to be exhaustive;
others list just a selection of rhyming words.
Some tables have more than one heading, if the words have different sources,
but all of the words therein have congruent rhyming sequences.
A two-character code is used to denote parts of speech,
as shown in the following table:
